Friday before Easter which is the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead and
ascended into heaven. On the Good Friday, a cross symbolising the one on
which Jesus was crucified, is uncovered in many a church. A feast,
representing the last supper of the Christ, is held on the Thursday night.
Priests deliver sermon narrating the sufferings Jesus Christ inflicted upon
himself for the sake of humanity in goa good friday.

Panjim, the capital city of good friday goa, sees hordes of locals and
