This KSTDC hotel is near Kamalapuram area and not really in Hampi so it is a bit far away from the main sites but can be easily reached by cycle or autorickshaw available for hire from the Hotel Mayura bhuwaneshwari of Hampi.
The rates were pretty cheap for the non airconditioned rooms but the airconditioned rooms were a bit expensive as there is no guarantee of the electricity and the generators do not run the

There is a nice restaurant that serves good Indian as well as some western cuisine and it is pretty cheap too. The rooms are spacious but not so clean as one would expect them to be. The food is good and they even make some dishes to suit your palate.
