» Rohtang Pass-Manali Tours India :

The second predominant tourist attractions in Manali is the Rohtang Pass situated at an altitude of about 4,111 m and 50 km from Manali is one of the main attractions of the area.

The pass which is the only access to the Lahaul Valley generally remains open from June to November each year while during the rest of the year heavy snowfall in the area makes it inaccessible. The Sonapani Glacier and the twin peaks of Gaypan present a beautiful sight.

» Beas Kund :

The Beas kund, sheltered in a roundish igloo like stone hut, is a pond which forms the source of the holy Beas River.

The water of the pond, very clear and extremely cold, flows quietly down to the source of the river.

» Arjun Gufa :

 The Arjun Gufa or Arjun Cave is situated just 5 km from Manali, near the tiny village of Prirni. According to legend, this is the place where Arjuna prayed to lord Indra to get the Pashupata Astra. The amazing natural beauty and the quietness of the place is another major attraction.

» Adventure Sports-Manali Tours India : Manali is fast becoming a major adventure sports destination. The Manali Mountaineering Institute provides basic and advanced training on mountain climbing for both Indian and foreign nationals. Getting There
» By Air :

The nearest airport is at Bhuntar, about 50 km from Manali. Jagson Air and other flight operators provide services from Delhi to Kullu and back to Shimla in small 18 seater planes. It takes about 90 minutes to reach Kullu from Delhi.

» By Rail :

Jogindernagar is the nearest railhead, which is a narrow gauge railway line. The nearest broad gauge line is at Chandigarh, 310 km from Manali.

» By Road :

Manali is accessible through well built, though winding roads. Luxury buses run for Manali from Shimla, Chandigarh and Delhi. The distance of Manali from Delhi via Mandi is about 585 km.
