This royal residence of the Wodeyar rulers was originally erected in wood.
In 1897 it was burnt down only to be rebuilt in 1912. Symbolising the

» Elephant Gate : It is the main entrance of the
Mysore Palace in Mysore. Floral designs and the india mysore palace royal symbol of a
double-headed eagle decorate the gate. Moving to the north of the gate, you
can see exquisite dolls.
» Kalyana Mandapa or the Marriage Pavillion :
Lying to the south, the Marriage Pavillion has a gabled ceiling with
